I visited my ex-girlfriend a few years back in the winter and rode around Reno a bit on her spare bike. It was cold but nice dry desert weather. The city is quite flat and the streets are broad. Not much in the way of bicycle infrastructure and drivers are not particularly welcoming. It would be so easy to put massive bike lanes up- look at those street widths! Oh well. Reno isn’t exactly known for being progressive. At least she has moved to Austin, Texas now which is hopefully a bit better. When I visit, I’ll let you know.
